Golden Hour is a magical, homespun, queer event that embodies the freaky spirit of San Francisco. The show happens each week at sunset on Baker Beach. Ishmael invited me to come see them perform as Rihanna Wintour. I was introduced to the host, Syzygy and returned many times over for the next year. In October 2022, photographs from my visits to the Golden Hour were printed on silk flags and installed for three special performances.
